How it works

Set up in an afternoon. Answering by tonight.

If you already use Casa Inspect, most of the work is done. Casa Serve needs one thing from you: the answers you’d give a guest yourself.

Setup

Three steps.

  1. 1

Your homes and bookings are already there

Casa Serve runs on the properties and stays in Casa Inspect — synced from HostHub, an iCal feed, or entered by hand. Nothing new to connect.

  2. 2

    Write your guest guide

Add the questions guests ask and your answers — in the app, or by telling Casa. Copy answers over from your welcome book; mark anything private as staff-only.

  3. 3

    Give guests the number

Put the Casa Serve number in your check-in message, next to their door code. That's all a guest needs.

Where to start

The twelve questions every guest asks.

Answer these and Casa Serve will handle most of what reaches your phone today. Add the quirks of each home as they come up.

  • What's the wifi network and password?
  • What time is checkout, and what should we do before we leave?
  • When and where does the trash go out?
  • Where do we park?
  • How do we use the hot tub / pool / fireplace?
  • How does the thermostat work?
  • Which remote runs the TV?
  • Are there quiet hours?
  • Are pets allowed?
  • Where are extra towels, blankets, and paper goods?
  • Is there coffee — and how does the coffee maker work?
  • What's good nearby for dinner?
A guest's call, end to end

What happens when the phone rings.

  1. 1

    The guest calls or texts

No app and no account. They reach the Casa Serve number from their own phone.

  2. 2

    They enter their door code

Casa Serve matches it to a stay that's happening now and to the home they're in. If two homes could match, it simply asks which one.

  3. 3

They ask, in their own words

“Where do the bins go?” “How do I turn on the fireplace?” Casa Serve answers from that home's guide, greeting them by name.

  4. 4

    Details arrive by text

Anything worth keeping — a password, a gate code, parking directions — Casa Serve offers to text to their phone.

  5. 5

    Problems go to you

If something is broken or they want a person, you get a text with the home, the guest, what they said, and the number to call back.

Privacy and security

A concierge that can't overshare.

Casa Serve is given one home’s guest-facing answers and the caller’s own stay details — nothing else. It can’t see your other properties, your calendar, your team, or your history, and it can’t change anything.

Door codes only work around a real, current stay. Repeated wrong codes lock the caller out for the day. Texts can only go to the phone the guest is calling from.

Questions

Common questions.

Do guests need to download anything?+

No. They call or text a phone number from the phone they already have.

When does a guest's door code work?+

From the day before check-in through the day after checkout. Outside that window the code does nothing.

What if two of my homes have guests arriving the same day?+

Casa Serve asks the guest which home they're at — one quick question — and carries on.

Can Casa Serve unlock doors, change codes, or edit bookings?+

No. It answers questions, texts the guest, and alerts you. It can't change anything in your account.

What if a guest asks something that isn't in the guide?+

Casa Serve tells them it doesn't have that answer rather than guessing, and can pass the question to you.

Who can edit the guest guide?+

You and the managers you choose. Entries that apply to every property can only be changed by the account owner.

Where do I keep alarm codes and other private details?+

In the same guide, marked staff-only. Casa Serve never receives those entries, so it can't repeat them.

Give your guests a concierge. Keep your evenings.

Casa Serve comes with Casa Inspect. Set up your properties, write your guest guide, and hand guests one number.
